Kentucky Horse Farm Tours

Remember—you’ll be in the Horse Capital of the World!  If you’ve always wanted to visit a thoroughbred horse farm, and get up close with the equine occupants, then we’ve got your tour preplanned. You can depart the hotel early Wednesday afternoon, July 13 for a guided tour in a comfortable bus visiting two local, well known horse farms.  Afterward, you’ll also visit renowned Keeneland Race Course (the site of both the AROC and Keeneland Concours d’Elegance), where you’ll see the historic stables, track and grandstand facilities.  The bus will arrive back at the hotel in time for a delicious lunch off the buffet in Kilbern’s Restaurant.  The charge for this tour is $35 per person. Maximum capacity of the bus is 54 passengers, plus your tour guide, so don’t miss it on your convention registration form!

Horse Back Riding Tour at the Kentucky Horse Park

For those folks who occasionally like to saddle up their one-horsepower rides, on Friday morning, July 15, we’ll provide a tour van to transport you to the popular Kentucky Horse Park for horseback riding on your own.  The charge is only $42 per hour for adults, and $32 per hour for kids ages 7 through 12 (sorry--no children younger than 7 for their own safety).  The transport charge is included, and there is a maximum of 30 passengers on this vehicle.  The bus will depart our hotel Friday morning and return before lunchtime.  This promises to be a popular outing, so check it off now on your convention registration form!
