Do you ever wonder what’s around the next bend in the trail?
Are you fascinated by handmade creations that become family

history? Well then, take
a morning or afternoon during Alfas in the

of the convention, in the “Convention Central” area at the rear
entrance to the hotel, you will find a self service kiosk consisting
of a PC, monitor, and printer.
This computer will be on the hotel wi-fi service and provide
internet access via Internet Explorer.
Folders (bookmark.html files) will be loaded onto the IE
FAVORITES drop-down that will enable you to easily check out
a wide variety of Self Guided Tours by going “one click” to their
website. The folder

directions provided on the website.
Grab your map, pile in your Alfa, and go there!

folder, the kiosk PC will also be loaded with other helpful
informational folders:
LOCAL SERVICES (emergency care, tires, competent
auto services, computer supplies and assistance, walk-in clinic, and
other useful nearby services)
CONVENTION INFORMATION (general information on
convention activities)
WOMENS ACTIVITIES (a smorgasbord of places to go
and things to see of interest particularly to ladies, including
tours, jewelry museum, shopping, handmade crafts, historic 19th
century homes, and many other places)
KIDS ACTIVITIES (places of interest to your kids
when they get burned out on Alfas and have memorized the hotel
layout!)
RESTAURANTS (the best places to eat locally, by
type of cuisine, from the best Mexican food to the best pizza)
LOCAL NAVIGATION (maps and services that will help
you get around town and the Bluegrass region, in the absence of a
GPS device!)
SCHEDULED GROUP TOURS (information on the three
scheduled group tours as described on the convention registration
form—the horse farm tour, distilleries tour, and horseback riding
tour at the Kentucky Horse Park)
